Dear Maj Navdeep...
Are these special rates applicable only for Army offrs OR extended to Air force & Navy offrs also...plz clarify.

Dear officers, its sad to see we get doubts like...is it only for Army officers??!! Pl be forthrightly clear and unified in the thought. An officer of Armed Forces is what it is to be taken always in such issues. Do not cast doubt in yourself and others by such thoughts. Army , Air Force and Navy...all are singularly officers of Armed Forces. Just go and avail the offer. Its a good initiative and hardwork by a service arm, the govt reimburses at the same rates to all officers on Temporary Duty. Hope other premier Hotel Chains too will take intiative in this direction as it benefits them too commercially as much as the officer getting to stay in best environment at the place of the Temporary duty.

dear Major Navdeep, Greetings to you and sincere appreciations for the wonderful job being done by you. As per 6th CPC, retirement rank is considered for calculating pension. However Circular 430 has not taken this into consideration. Due to this veterans from Air Force who retired without getting rank pension as per 5th CPC are deprived of rank pension by PDAs. Those who did not complete 7 months in the rank were given retirement rank pension from Jan 2006 to Jun 2009. from Jul 2009 they are given pension as per pensioned rank and not retirement rank. Kindly advice how to handle this issue. Retired JWO S Neelakantan-9886333680
