this seems in contrary to the judgement of the supreme court by which some lady officers who had been released 2 years ago were taken back into the folds. can you please throw some light on the judgement by the supreme court in favour of women officers. Those officers who have been taken back are of services even other than JAG and AEC.With that having happened, what is the future of the women officers of all the arms and services.

I have seen from close quarters AMC lady officer staying at remote operational posts (AR) where she in tentage to provide onsite medical cover. She got annoyed when I sought a male medical officer to accompany the week long patrol. Later I was to realise that it was not an exception.

Having served alongside many of them, I have found most of them to be very sincere and intellectually superior to many male counterparts.

It's time we truly enhance their role.

Ever notice that none of the women going to the court have ever asked for women to be inducted at recruit/NCO/JCO level???
