I have pointed out this concern at various fora and ‘The Tribune’ covers the issue today.

All this reeks of unfairness on part of a Government that not only professes to be socialist (as enshrined in the preamble to our constitution) but also indifferent to the plight of a retiree who has to make do with a meagre amount as pension. It also illustrates how the beurucrats (uniformed or otherwise) actively undermine the principles of natural justice.
ReplyDeleteThe once noble professions -doctors and lawyers-have steadily degraded themselves, courtesy capitation and the materialism till the lure of the lucre outweighs everything else. Sad, but true...Which is another reason(as if we needed any)that you, Maj Navdeep Singh are held in high esteem from Jorhat to Jamnagar and Thoise to Thanjavur.
